11月28日、コナミは人気サッカーゲーム「ウイニングイレブン」シリーズの最新作『ワールドサッカー ウイニングイレブン 2014』を、Wi-Fiクラウドゲーム機｢G-cluster｣、「NTTぷらら ひかりTVゲーム」で配信を開始したことを発表した。
『ワールドサッカー ウイニングイレブン 2014』は、「FOX ENGINE」をベースにしたサッカー専用の新ゲームシステムを搭載。これによりグラフィックやモーション（動き）が大幅に向上し、選手の表情やユニフォームの質感、ボールの動きやボディコンタクトに至るまでを忠実に表現されている。サッカー日本代表をはじめとした各国代表や世界のクラブチームを、実写さながらの映像でプレーすることができ、ゲームへの没入感を高める。
また、新しくなったサッカー日本代表のユニフォームを収録。「マスターリーグ」モードでは、プレーヤーが各国代表の監督に就任することが可能で、自分だけのサッカー日本代表チームを率いて世界と戦う興奮や感動を、よりリアルに味わえるようになった。
さらに、アジアのクラブチームチャンピオンを決定する「AFCアジアチャンピオンズリーグ」を収録。欧州の「UEFAチャンピオンズリーグ」、南米の「コパ・リベルタドーレス」と合わせ、欧州・南米・アジアのそれぞれの頂点を極める戦いを一作品で楽しめる、世界で唯一のサッカーゲームとなっている。
