FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2012 presented by TOYOTA
Semi-finals
Corinthians (Brazil/South American champions) v. Al-Ahly SC (Egypt/African champions)
December 12 (Wed.) Kick-off: 19:30
TOYOTA Stadium
While Corinthians are seen as title contenders, Al-Ahly cannot be taken lightly when the two teams meet in the semi-finals of the world’s most prestigious football club tournament. The African champions have many experienced players including hero Aboutrika and they controlled much of the game in the quarter-finals against the host side Hiroshima. But Corinthians also have their own veterans such as Emerson and Danilo and boast a quality, European-style organised defence. Take note of how the South American champions will deal with the attack-minded Egyptian side and break on the counter.
Don’t miss the “cheering match” between supporters of the two teams in a game. TOYOTA, the official sponsor of the tournament, has launched a web page where supporters from all over the world can cheer either of the competing teams.
